Dental Health
The American Dental Association recommends that teeth cleaning be performed every six months, and can include polishing and scaling of the teeth. In order to prevent the build-up of plaque and tartar, proper oral hygiene is always recommended. Regular brushing of the teeth and flossing are suggested on a frequent basis. This provides the individual an advantage over the progression of plaque and tartar buid-up.
It is also recommended that a brushing or cleaning of the tongue be done when brushing one’s teeth as this will help in the prevention of bad breath. Additionally massaging the gums is also recommended.
